To much acclaim, the guest performances within the Pika-Točka-Tačka cycle started last week with the concerts of the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra in Zagreb (9th December) and Belgrade (10th December). The Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra performed under the baton of its Chief Conductor Emmanuel Villaume and the soloist was the brilliant American pianist Andrew von Oeyen. With these first guest performances, the collaboration of the three leading philharmonic orchestras in the region has made the journey from idea to reality.
The audiences packed the sold-out Lisinski and Kolarac concert halls, eager to hear the Slovenian Philharmonic Orchestra's marvellous performances of the works of Mozart and Beethoven. http://www.pikatockatacka.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=130%3A2011-12-14-14-11-31&catid=37%3Afilharmonije&Itemid=109&lang=en#sigProGalleria4724226025
